What Readers Are Saying
As a huge penguin lover, just the title alone was enough to grab my attention! Of course, reading it was not so much about penguins, but it still really kept my attention throughout. This is one of those books that made me pause, reflect, and sit with the ideas long after I’d closed it. It’s not a typical self-help book; it’s more like having a deep, late-night conversation with a friend who’s halfway between mystic and philosopher. I especially loved the recurring image of penguins learning to fly. It felt symbolic of how we’re all capable of rising beyond what we assume is possible. I finished this book feeling mentally and spiritually stimulated. This is one book I’d highly recommend to anyone and everyone!
This book is a very complex and enlightening journey about how one man overcame trauma and discovered a new, higher way of living on a new level of consciousness. The author's knowledge and fascination with numbers, metaphysics, and spirituality is the driving force throughout this book, explaining how we can reach different "dimensions" in life. He also talks about the importance of finding our role in society and about life's unique design. I enjoyed reading about the many numerical symbols throughout the book and what they represent. A very interesting and thought-provoking read.
When Penguins Fly: An Ascension Enhancement Project by Andrew Patrick Craig is an interesting book that needs to be read slowly if it is to be understood and appreciated. The author takes us on a journey that begins at his birth, or possibly one of several births, which show how he became the person he is today. The story allows us to see many of the struggles the author has faced in his life and the ways that he overcame them to reach a higher level of living. The later chapters dive into the different dimensions and levels of life that the author wants us to embrace in order to live the best life possible and contribute the most to the world around us. To fully comprehend these chapters, the reader needs to let go of many previously held beliefs and fall into what the author is presenting. This may be difficult for many: I know it was for me. But, at its core this is a guide to becoming a better person and leaving a positive lasting mark on the world. Anyone who is looking for some guidance in life or a new approach to becoming a strong and positive person will benefit from the ideas presented here, even if you don't buy into
If you’re up for something thought-provoking, the author here delivers a deeply personal journey in this book. What shines in this book is the unapologetic vulnerability. It sort of a self-help book, but not quite. It’s hard to explain, but it definitely makes you think about your choices. It’s a blend of pain, purpose, and perspective. It may not be everyone’s typical beach read, but if you’re on a quest for deeper meaning and a nudge to level up your spiritual game, this might just be your next unexpected favorite.
I consider that this author evidently has a superior mind, I feel it through his words, his narrative that has a clear systematism, but also on the other hand, reflects having found a great sense of humanity that also ends up being expressed through speech. The story is very shocking, because for him to get to where he is, the author went through many life obstacles that not everyone is strengthened by. But well, at the end of the day, the reflection ends up being fantastic, because it invites us to let go, to leave traumas and hatreds behind in order to head towards a path with much more sense, with ownership.
A heady plunge into a radically enlightened perspective on existence, this book is not for the faint of heart—or consciousness. Part transcendental memoir, part philosophical discourse, and part New Age spiritual text, the author confidently introduces readers to the mind-bending complexity of 5DC—"fifth dimension consciousness", for lay readers—not to be confused with 3DC or 4DC (third dimension without the dark side). Explaining his journey and that of his partner, Eighty-Eight, through a mix of metaphor, theatre, memory, observation of the natural world, and universal reflection, the reading experience is unlike many other books, and for those who have been primed to these theoretical concepts, this is probably a wonderfully comforting and eye-opening read. For others, the author may be asking for too much suspension of disbelief without tangible evidence or impartial arguments. That said, the writing is well-edited, intriguing, and driven by a genuine desire to rise above the petty worries and strife of a normal life.
